John In Babeland is a collection of songs recorded between July 5 2011 and sometime in February 2012.

This record wouldn't have happened without support from my friends and mentors. Bob Meyer taught me how to record, and let me use his studio (and Whiskey) to complete this record. Jacob Jaffe lent me the mics you hear on half of this record. Zach Burba and Kenneth Piekarski convinced me to save and remix the tour EP that makes the other half of this record. Lilly Morlock heard every single time I turned up to check the bass. Lily Kerson played saw and mostly tolerated my self-obsession (pray that she continues to do so). Jon Manning came out of the woodwork as a Neighbors fan and did this best thing a fan could do—he ponied up to put it out on shiny cassette tapes (buy one).

Stumbled across this great band because of Martha the band and I just love their sometimes melancholy garage-sound. Also I like the acoustic songs. I still remember seeing them live in my hometown when they were touring with Erica Freas and asked them for a setlist to have something to remember the great concert.
